Janine D'Aniello Martin, Esq.
Janine was born and raised in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. After graduating from Villa Maria Academy High School in 2002, she attended Loyola University in Maryland. Janine graduated cum laude from Loyola in 2006 with a degree in Political Science and Philosophy.
Janine then attended law school at the Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law in Washington, D.C. on an academic scholarship. During her second year of law school, Janine was chosen to be a staff member on the Law Review and was inducted to the editorial board of the Law Review her third year. Janine graduated law school fifth in her class with the honor of magna cum laude in 2009.
After graduating from law school, Janine joined the Washington, D.C. office of the law firm of Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP as an associate in its litigation department. The invaluable training and mentoring that Janine received at Willkie provided her with a solid foundation for her legal career. At Willkie, Janine represented individual and corporate clients in a variety of matters, including breach of contract, fraud, accountant malpractice, and employment discrimination cases. Her practice spanned multiple forums: litigation in state and federal courts in California, New Jersey, and Washington, D.C., a mandamus petition to the D.C. Circuit, an arbitration in New York, and an SEC proceeding in Illinois.
Janine also took advantage of Willkie's strong pro bono program. She was a member of two different pro bono teams that won service awards from the Washington Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights and Urban Affairs. The first award was in 2010 for providing representation at parole hearings to ensure the application of proper sentencing guidelines. The second award was won in 2015 for representing a young, female immigrant who was sexually assaulted by her employer.
After nearly six years with Willkie, Janine and her husband moved back home to Pennsylvania to be closer to family. Janine has joined her father's office as Of Counsel. She is an active member of the Pennsylvania and New Jersey bars.
